Some Links about Friends

Photographer friend Tricia Lawless Murray is interviewed in the online photography magazine Rotating Gallery. She discusses her interest in pornography (way to be reductive), and two of her current projects, "Some Men" and her "quasi-contemporary reinterpretation" of Marguerite Duras's novel L'amant, both of which I have seen. Her work is also featured in Fraction, another photography magazine.

Artist Alicia Escott's love letter project is featured in the Examiner. Some other work is featured in grist.com. She also interviewed in Eco Salon and on KUSF.

Leah Rosenberg is featured in In The Make.

My favorite French-Canadian publisher, La Peuplade, celebrates its 5th birthday. La Peuplade has published among other people, François Turcot, Chantal Neveu, and Alexis Lussier, whose work will appear in English in the next issue of New American Writing, in a feature on poetry from Québec. Congratulations, Simon-Philippe.
