Left Bank Gang (Fantagraphics, 2007)

Ezra Pound, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and James Joyce as anthropomorphic canine (well, except for Joyce who's a crow) cartoonists living in 1920s Paris and set on a bank robbery. What's not to like about this comic book, written and drawn by Norwegian cartoonist Jason? And it has cameos by Gertrude Stein too. Not to mention it's done entirely in 9-panel grids

jess: you should go get a copy of it. It's probably available at your local comic book store. Granted, it's probably not the most woman-friendly environment on Earth.
