I am going to start using NeoOffice for a week. After that, I might uninstall Microsoft Office for Mac. Usually, when I run Word is when my computer slows down (MS Office for Mac being a Power PC application, meaning, everything runs through Rosetta) and heats up more rapidly (due to higher CPU use, see Rosetta). Seriously, unless you are running Windows, why should you have Microsoft Office in the first place. Oh, wait, OpenOffice is also available for Windows.
