I was thinking more about the relationship between the Victorians and the Romantics, in that the former more or less shared the latter's aesthetics, but with none of the political/revolutionary fervor. Similarly, some of us admire the historical avant-garde, but with the same problems as the Victorians. Our emulation is purely aesthetic and not total. So, no, I don't think we are Romantics.
