Andrew's book, City of Regret, is out. It should be available from SPD soon, until then, it's also available at Zone 3's website. Andrew is an amazing poet, another follower of the speculative lyric strand. Hard to believe he studied under William Logan (and Adam Zagajewski. Not sure if he studied with Tony Hoagland). Along with Jericho Brown (who, I believe, also has a forthcoming book), Ranjana Varghese, Sasha West, Claire Webb, and a couple of other people, Andrew is one of the people who kept me sane (or insane, your pick) while in Houston.

Many duets were sung together under the influence of hard liquor.

Thanks for the plug, Francois, and the compliments. I've never heard myself described as "a follower of the speculative lyric strand" of poetry, but I won't deny it. It sounds like a cool club to be in.

well, when i speak of "speculative lyric," as i was telling todd, i'm referring to a poetry interested in science, philosophy and inquiry. i stole the term from andrew joron.
