I want one of those.

Please?

I've been nice this year ...

Okay, maybe when I hit grad school and become eligible again for the student discount.

SUNY Buffalo (google "UB Micro") has good student discounts. Somehow i'm still listed as a student there, if you want something, I can hook you up.

jessica: thanks for the hook up. on the other hand, i am not to keen on using other people's privileges (something having to do with my past career as a retail store peon and having cheap relatives) ... unless it's access to jstor and project muse :p

Apply online for one of those payment plans! HP/Compaq has some good deals going now, and you don't have to pay in full upfront ...

And go soak your knee in warm water and Epsom Salts. Does anyone use Epsom anymore?

Uses: http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/self/290

And if it doesn't fix your knee, then you can at least become a super model: http://www.pioneerthinking.com/epsomsalts.html

Feel better!

it's not an employee discount and you're not "cheap"--it's a student discount and you're "poor." it's different.

knees are a poorly designed body part. when Apple makes prosthetics I'm so there.

amy: going to give a try to epsom salt tonight.

jessica: what i am saying is, relatives of mine were abusing my discount back when i was working there and although i've never been in trouble for it (which was quite surprising), i just swore i'd never use anyone else discounts.
