I am not sure where I saw Flarf being compared to Dada. After reading Katie Degentesh's The Anger Scale, I think Flarf in its practices is probably closer to OuLiPo. And Dogme 95 and Lars Van Triers.

But I think Flarf also has a range of aesthetics, and tones--maybe even more importantly, tones.
