Brazos Bookstore

Shanna had previously pointed to this article in Publishers Weekly, regarding the salvation of Brazos Bookstore. This article from the Houston Chronicle has more details. I am glad to read this, although there are no mention of the poetry curator position, last occupied by J. Allen Hall and Michael Dumanis.

Now, it seems that most of my visitors here are more interested in the World Cup than in poetry ... Perhaps a poetry post should be coming ...

Boring!!! We'll see boring when Brazil has the game won by the 20 minute mark and we're forced to listen to the announcers look at everything Zidane does and comment that this is the last time he'll ever do.

Zidane is truly one of the all time greats in ths sport, truly one of the greats . . . one of the rare players like a Maradona a Pele a Ronaldo . . . and this may be the last time we see him dispute a deserved yellow card . .

:P
