Jessica has just re-released Charles Bernstein's and Susan Bee's The Nude Formalism as an e-book through Outside Voices. It's beautiful and you should all read it right now, as I am doing (while watching the Argentina vs. Ivory Coast game, which is drawing to a close right now)

Otherwise, the following poets have this to say about the World Cup:

  • Johannes did not surrender his Swedish citizenship over the tie against Trinidad & Tobago.
  • Jessica is a bit disappointed about the Swedish captain, Olof Mellberg.
  • Scott is still in the Major League Soccer season and wants you to vote for his brother as MLS All-Star Defensive Player.
  • Logan is still waiting for Jessica and I to show up to watch the England-Paraguay game. I guess we will arrive in time for the Mexico-Iran game.
  • Jordan Davis is still talking about baseball. Talk about misplaced priorities (just kidding).
Okay, am I missing anyone?

Yes, go read Nude Formalism! It's the best!

Now your site is going to get lots more hits from people searching for "nude," if my site is any indication.

I don't know ... Thing is, I already have some strange google searches leading here ... "nude" would seem normal compared to some searches.

you forgot gina myers' run down of where to catch the games at the NYC bars...

yeah, when peeps search for porn they definitly don't search "nude"..."nude" might lead you to the SFMOMA...

cool cool, i'll check gina myers' blog later today.

and now that you've written "porn," people will flock here looking for it :P

but seriously, i'm getting like 10 new hits/day via "nude." but they're mostly european. all, actually. maybe their english isn't dirty enough? it always surprises me when people actually click to my blog when they're searching for weird stuff (i get a lot of "female circumcision" too, yea...), like do they go through all the search hits? don't they have any powers of discretion? use google! Use google!

hum, sadly, i haven't reached that point yet ... no google search for "female circumcision" or "nude" or even "porn" redirecting here ...

mostly i get "apollo anton ohno" "oily butts" "psuedo scorpian" and "mannish"

i'm jealous, you both seem to get the more interesting search results. all i get is "ticki ticki ticki lyrics," "adorno hence it may have been wrong to say that no poem could be written after auschwitz" and "vivez, si m'en croyez, n'attendez a demain translation" (lyrics from french band noir désir) only seriousness leads the way here ... i feel dejected.

I get things like 'men in panties,' and a popular one seems to be 'reading naked.' I also get hits looking to find out if certain folks noted on my site are gay: devendra banhart gay, etc.
François Luong said…
i can see how people got to your blog looking up davandra banhart ... but gay? people need to be using quotation marks when googling something ...
