"Wake me up when they reach the penalty kick phase." Seriously, this was the most boring game I've seen so far. The Swiss played like the English did ten years ago, mostly short passes and a total lack of ambition when it comes to play. The Ukrainian played the same way, although they displayed some flashes of energy here and there. This is one of those games where you wish one of the teams, any team, could score a goal so that it doesn't go into overtime or penalty kicks.

Man of the game: the ref. He was the complete opposite of Ivanov yesterday during the Portugal-Netherlands game. Not that there was much happening anyway.

Shevchenko was completely useless. What's the deal with him, beyond playing for AC Milan?
